Yammie Lam was popular in the 1990's as a Hong Kong TVB actress and film star. Then she starred in a film called The Greed of Man where she played an insane woman and she just stayed crazy. She has been institutionalized before and doesn't seem to be doing that well.

She has also filed for bankruptcy and, in recent years, has been living off her retired lawyer "friend" Tsang Koon-Wai. One other big scandal associated with her involved her roaming the streets in a nightgown (like that's a big deal). Some reports said she was in a red light district and others said there was blood on her nightgown. It all seems like people are making something out of something. In articles like this one it seems like they keep mentioning that she smokes and gambles and wears little makeup. And has a far off look in her eyes. She must be crazy. Or maybe I just think its all fabricated after the news is trying to say that she is panhandling here:
